We are seeking participants for the Music Branding Expert Workshop 2016 in Berlin, Germany.

This one-day event will gather European experts from the areas of audio branding, marketing practice/research and music publishing. The aim of the meeting is to collectively develop an English language word list composed of semantic terms regarded as essential and indispensable vocabulary for branding communication based on music. The workshop’s result will form an initial step in the development of the General Music Branding Inventory (GMBI), a multi-language, scientifically validated basic terminology for communicating brand values and human emotions in the context of music branding.

Every workshop participant will become a member of the Music Branding Expert Group and will be mentioned as such within press releases and scientific publications related to the workshop results. Furthermore, we will organize your travel, catering and accommodation and cover the related costs. Additionally, we are able to offer you an expense allowance of 200 EUR for your participation.

The Music Branding Expert Workshop: will take place on Monday April 11th, 2016. It will be scheduled from 9:00 – 16:30h in order to allow travel to Berlin on the day before and departure on the day of the workshop.

Sónar is an international festival of advanced music and congress of technology and creativity, celebrated during three days every June in Barcelona. This year the ABC_DJ project and TU Berlin’s Audio Communication Group are official partners of the Sónar Festival.

“Sónar by Day” and “Sónar by Night” host live shows, concerts and dj sets, while “Sónar+D” is an international congress focused on the digital creative industries and dedicated to creating professional, business and networking opportunities.

To achieve simple structure, focused design and clean look the ABC_DJ website was based on the WordPress Theme Moka. WordPress was selected as a basis for the page due to the high customisability of the frontend and the pellucid and well known CMS. The website is structured in six central sections:

• Press
• Log-In

which are further divided into sub-sections where necessary.
In addition to these sections a Landing Page was created to introduce the visitor in a very short and condensed way to the project.
