IEEE ICASSP 2018

ICASSP (International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing) is the world’s largest and most comprehensive technical conference focused on signal processing and its applications. As we witness the rapid increase in smart technologies, the theme of ICASSP 2018 is “Signal Processing and Artificial Intelligence: Changing the World.” The conference will feature world-class international speakers, tutorials, exhibits, lectures and poster sessions from around the world.

DAGA 2018

Coinciding with the 150th anniversary of Technical University Munich (TUM), DAGA invites all of us to take a look at its acoustics tradition: In 1967, Eberhard Zwicker established the Institute of Electroacoustics which was soon joined by Ernst Terhardt and Hugo Fastl. Acousticians will celebrate TUM’s 150th anniversary with a double conference of DAGA and GAMM, the latter being the conference of the International Association of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics, which features numerical acoustics.

DAGA 2018 will again comprise all areas of acoustics. It is organized by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering together with colleagues from the Faculty of Civil, Geo and Environmental Engineering and from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
